Asaa SUP blev startet af Thierry Orial i sommeren 2019 med nogle få boards, og beskedne kår i et lille fiskerhus på Asaa havn. Klubben råder i dag over 25 boards, og udstyr opgraderes løbende som der er behov og økonomi til det.
